We are excited to share that The Coffee Pod Recycling Co. has been featured on the cover of Community Magazine’s August issue for Holmdel and Colts Neck!

For a company that began as a student-led idea to solve a simple problem—making single-use coffee pods easier to recycle—seeing CPRC on the cover of a magazine serving our own community is an incredible milestone.

The feature tells the story of how CPRC grew from an idea into a real business focused on making coffee pod recycling simpler and more accessible. Since our founding, we have developed recycling tools for Keurig K-Cups and Nespresso capsules, continued improving our products, reached customers beyond New Jersey, and worked to bring greater attention to the enormous amount of waste created by disposable coffee pods each year.

What makes this feature especially meaningful is that Monmouth County is where CPRC began. It is where we designed our first products, produced our first units, made our first sales, and began sharing our mission with customers and local leaders. Being recognized by a publication centered on Holmdel and Colts Neck feels, in many ways, like bringing the story home.

We are incredibly grateful to Community Magazine for taking the time to tell our story and for giving a group of young entrepreneurs the opportunity to share what we have been building.

The cover feature is also a reminder of how far CPRC has come—and how much more there is to do. Billions of coffee pods are used every year, and too many still end up in landfills because separating the lid, grounds, and recyclable material can be inconvenient. Our goal remains straightforward: make that process easier, encourage more people to recycle, and demonstrate that even a small product can help address a much larger environmental problem.
