CPRC Update: V3 Design Complete — Vertuo, Here We Come ☕♻️

If you’ve been following The Coffee Pod Recycling Co. (CPRC), you know we’ve been chasing one big goal: make coffee pod recycling actually doable for everyday people — fast, clean, and satisfying.

Today we’re pumped to share a major milestone:

We’ve finished the design of the Coffee Pod Recycler V3 — built for Nespresso Vertuo capsules.

Why V3 matters

Vertuo pods are awesome for coffee… and a headache when it comes to recycling. Between the pod construction and the leftover coffee grounds, it’s easy for people to give up and toss them in the trash. We don’t blame them — we built CPRC because we think the “right thing” should also be the easy thing.

V3 is our answer: a purpose-built recycler designed around the real-world Vertuo experience, so you can separate components efficiently and keep the process simple.

What “finished design” really means

When we say the design is finished, we mean we’ve reached the point where the V3 concept is fully locked in:

• Form and function are finalized

• Key mechanisms are defined

• Usability and repeatability were prioritized from the start

• We’re ready to shift from design work into protection and formalization

In short: V3 is no longer an idea on paper — it’s a complete product design we’re ready to defend and build on.

Next step: patents (and moving fast)

Now we’re rapidly entering the patenting phase.

That matters because CPRC has always been about building real products with real innovation — not quick hacks, not gimmicks. Protecting what we’ve designed is part of doing this the right way and setting up V3 for a strong future.

We’re excited (and, honestly, a little nervous — in a good way). This is one of those moments where you feel the work turning into something bigger.
