CPRC Managing Partner Gives Semesterly Lecture to HTHS Engineering Design and Development Seniors

The Coffee Pod Recycling Co. is excited to share that our Managing Partner, Henry Griffith, recently gave his semesterly lecture to seniors in High Technology High School’s Engineering Design and Development class.

As a student at HTHS himself, Henry’s lecture was a chance to step into the seniors' classroom and speak directly with fellow student innovators about the CPRC journey: how a class project turned into a patent-pending product, a growing sustainability company, and a real-world entrepreneurial venture.

The lecture covered the full story of The Coffee Pod Recycling Co., from early prototyping and design challenges to patent filings, press momentum, customer feedback, and the realities of building a company while still in high school. Henry also spoke about the practical side of entrepreneurship: refining a product, protecting intellectual property, responding to market feedback, and learning how to clearly tell a company’s story.

For CPRC, this semesterly lecture has become a special tradition. Engineering Design and Development is where students are challenged to think seriously about invention, problem-solving, and product development, and it is always meaningful for Henry to share what CPRC has learned with seniors working on their own major engineering projects.

We are grateful to High Technology High School and the Engineering Design and Development program for continuing to encourage student innovation and real-world problem-solving.

Videos from the lecture will be posted in the coming days, so stay tuned. We cannot wait to share more from the event!
